Working in a Claims and Loss Adjusters Practice as Building Surveyor & Project Manager in the Surveying Services department, promoted to Surveying Services Manager reporting to the Area Manager and Directors.
Contract Administration and lifecycle of claims on retail, commercial or residential buildings, diagnosing building defects, preparing specifications pre and post contract, co-ordination of engineering solutions and design team, and CDM (Planning Supervisors administrator).
Managing live projects from investigation, inception to completion, dealing with Party Wall and neighbourly matters, Building Regulations, Planning, Cost Control, CDM Regulations and Health & Safety.
Acting as Contract Administrator, and CDM co-ordinator, negotiating tenders for the most cost-effective construction methods for my client, agreeing variations, interim and final accounts and report writing, managing stakeholders, contractors, and sub-contractor’s expectations.
Experience of preparing schedules of work, pre-construction health and safety plans, tenders, tender analysis for building repairs, demolition, new build, fire reinstatement, flood damage and extensive foundation, drainage repairs on a variety of different retail, industrial, office, commercial and residential properties.
